Florida State joins top 10, Gonzaga still No. 1 in Ferris Mowers Men's Basketball Coaches Poll

The top five teams remain the same in the Ferris Mowers Men’s Basketball Coaches Poll this week, though the order shifted ever so slightly among the Big Ten trio in the group.

Gonzaga and Baylor continue to hold the top two spots, with the Zags picking up 27 first-place votes and the Bears retaining four. Michigan also holds at No. 3 after outlasting Ohio State in a terrific game Sunday. The Wolverines claim the last No. 1 vote for their efforts. The Buckeyes drop only one spot to No. 5, however, flipping places with Big Ten rival Illinois, which rises one place.

Florida State guard RayQuan Evans (0) shoots against Pittsburgh guard Xavier Johnson (1) and guard Femi Odukale during the second half at the Petersen Events Center.

Villanova, Alabama and Oklahoma hold down the next three spots. Florida State makes the big move of the week, vaulting seven places to No. 9 after assuming first place in the ACC. Houston slips five places to No. 10 after dropping a midweek game to Wichita State.
