With less than three weeks until Election Day, President Donald Trump returned to Iowa Wednesday for a campaign rally at the Des Moines International Airport.
The visit comes as the latest Des Moines Register/Mediacom Iowa Poll shows Trump locked in a dead heat with former Vice President Joe Biden for the state's six electoral votes. The mid-September poll showed each with 47% support among likely voters.
Wednesday morning, Iowa wrestling icon Dan Gable told the Des Moines Register that Trump plans to award him the Presidential Medal of Freedom. The president brought Gable up to speak from his rally stage.
